A Madison man faces charges after police said he was involved in a hit-and-run crash that caused the other vehicle to rollover Saturday night, officials said.

A 20-year-old Madison man was driving north at the intersection of East Towne Boulevard and East Springs Drive around 9:05 p.m. when Kham Simongkhonh, 67, allegedly ran a red light and hit the victim’s vehicle, according to a release.

Simongkhonh reportedly continued to drive home with significant damage to his vehicle, police said. He was followed by a witness, and police eventually cited him on a red signal violation and hit-and-run.

The 20-year-old was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
