MADISON, Wis. — A driver allegedly waved his gun at snow removal workers during a road rage incident in Madison Monday morning, officials said.

According to the incident report, Madison police were sent to the intersection of North Hamilton St. and East Johnson St at 7:02 a.m. after a report of a weapons violation.

Officials said the driver became upset with how employees of a private snow removal company were using their plow truck near the intersection.

The three men who were part of the snow removal crew said the driver went around them as they tried pulling their truck into the street.

Police said the driver stopped his car, got out and approached the victims with what appeared to be a handgun.

The workers told officials that the man waved the gun around and said “It’s your lucky day.” The report said the driver got back into his car shortly after and drove away.
