MPD: Cocaine, meth, more than $6,500 cash seized from suspected Madison drug dealer’s apartment
MADISON, Wis. — Police seized drugs and cash from a suspected drug dealer’s home on Madison’s south side Tuesday, according to a news release.
The Madison Police Department said 33-year-old Charles L. Nance was the subject of an ongoing drug investigation and was taken into custody as he left his apartment in the 2100 block of Pike Drive.
After he was in custody, Madison SWAT team members searched his home with a warrant, the report said.
According to police, a handgun, more than $6,500 cash, cocaine and methamphetamines were among items seized.
Nance is facing tentative charges including three counts of delivery of cocaine, possession with intent to deliver cocaine powder, two counts of possession with intent to deliver cocaine base, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and maintaining a drug trafficking place.
