Motorist report of driver nodding off leads to 5th OWI

Madison teen arrested with stolen bike, electronic items, police say

A Cambridge man was charged with a fifth drunken driving offense Friday after a motorist reported a driver falling asleep.

The Wisconsin State Patrol Southwest Region DeForest Post said a deputy responded to a report of a vehicle deviating from the lane of traffic on westbound Interstate 90 near mile marker 126. The driver appeared to be nodding off behind the wheel at about 6:30 p.m.

Jason C. Hackney, 33 , was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, felony fifth offense, according to the report.
