Motorcyclist suffers possible life-threatening injuries

A 28-year-old Madison man is suffering possible life-threatening injuries in a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon, according to police.

Witnesses told Madison police the man was on his motorcycle heading east on Prairie Road when he failed to negotiate a curve near Maple View Drive at 12:40 p.m.

The victim laid the bike down and slid about 120 feet before coming to a stop, according to police.

Passer-by helped the victim by lifting the bike off of him while police and paramedics responded.
