Motorcyclist injured in Green County crash
TOWN OF BROOKLYN, Wis. — A Madison man was injured when he crashed his motorcycle into a vehicle near Evansville Friday afternoon, the Green County Sheriff’s Office said.
First responders were called to the N7800 block of Highway 104 in the Town of Brooklyn at 1:04 p.m. for a report of a two-vehicle crash with injuries, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
An investigation found that 46-year-old John L. Ross, of Evansville, was driving south on Highway 104 and stopped to turn east onto County Highway C when he was rear-ended by the motorcyclist, later identified as 51-year-old Edward A. Best, the release said.
Best, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was taken by ambulance to Meriter Hospital with injuries, the release said. Ross was uninjured.
