Motorcyclist ejected during Dodge Co. crash air lifted to Milwaukee area hospital

LEROY, Wis. — A motorcyclist was flown to a Milwaukee area hospital Friday morning after suffering serious injuries in a crash on State Highway 175.

Officials with the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene near County Highway HH just before 11:30 a.m. According to their initial investigation, the motorcyclist was traveling south on State Highway 175 at a high speed when the motorcycle began to slide on the roadway.

Authorities said the motorcycle traveled off the west side of the roadway, hit a mailbox and overturned in a cornfield.

The motorcyclist was ejected from the vehicle during the crash. They were wearing a helmet, according to a news release.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the crash. The Brownsville Fire Department, Mayville emergency medical services, Fond du Lac paramedics and Flight for Life helped with the response.
