Motorcycle crash injures 2 in Green County

Crash happened in Albany Tuesday morning

A motorcyclist and his passenger were hurt when his motorcycle crashed in Albany on Tuesday.

The Green County Sheriff’s Office said a 26-year-old Sun Prairie man was driving on Dunphy Road and hit some gravel as he was turning onto English Settlement Road about 6:40 p.m.

Authorities said he lost control of his motorcycle. He was not wearing a helmet and was taken to a hospital, according to the Green County Sheriff’s Office.

His passenger, a 27-year-old woman from Albany, was also hurt, according to authorities. She was wearing a helmet and was taken to a hospital by private vehicle.

Sheriff’s officials said the motorcycle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
