MADISON, Wis. — More than 45% of Wisconsin’s population has received a least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine, according to the state Department of Health Services.

DHS officials said 4,852,017 doses of the vaccine have been administered to Wisconsinites, while 2,284,309 people, or 39.2% of people, have fully completed the vaccine series.

DHS reported its new case and death totals late Saturday afternoon due to a technical issue with its online system.

When data was reported after 5 p.m., there were 448 new cases of the virus from Friday’s total as well as four additional deaths.
