More questions than answers in Janesville double homicide case
JANESVILLE, Wis – Janesville Police say they are still searching for the person responsible for shooting and killing two young mothers on Janesville’s northeast side.
On Wednesday, police announced they had identified a suspect, but chose not to release the suspect’s name, age, or description. It is now unclear whether police have issued a warrant for said suspect, or if they are aware where the suspect is.
On Thursday, police confirmed to News 3 Now there would be no further updates in the investigation at this time.
Police have been searching for a suspect since the two victims, Brittany McAdory and Seairaha Winchester, were found shot to death behind the TA Travel Center in Janesville early Monday morning. It is unclear what motive the suspect had to kill the two women.
On Monday, Police Chief David Moore shared that the department had located one of the victim’s vehicles outside of Chicago.
More details will be shared as this story continues to develop.
