More charges for man accused of killing pedestrian on East Wash.

The Sauk City man accused of striking and killing a Madison woman with his car faces two more charges in the case, police said.

Madison police said 25-year-old Adam M. Sutter was also charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and first-degree reckless homicide on Monday.

Police said Sutter was driving on East Washington Avenue at North Stoughton Road at 7:15 p.m. June 18 when he struck 36-year-old Sara Wolf as she was crossing the street. Wolf died.

Sutter was initially charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.

Madison police have named the intersection at East Washington Avenue and Stoughton Road as the city’s most dangerous intersection, with 42 crashes and more than a dozen injuries in 2013 alone..
