Moped crashes; driver suspected of 5th OWI
Driver suffers cut to head
MADISON, Wis. — A man who crashed his moped is suspected of fifth-offense operating while intoxicated.
Madison police said Warren G. Whitelightning, 43, of Madison, crashed while turning from East Washington Avenue onto Continental Lane around 4:30 p.m. Friday.
Whitelightning suffered a cut to the head and tried to pass himself off as his brother, according to police.
He was arrested on suspicion of fifth-offense OWI, operating while revoked and obstructing.
