Monroe police ID suspects wanted in Valentine’s Day robbery
Felony warrants issued for three men from Illinois
MONROE, Wis. — Monroe police have identified three people they believe are connected to a Valentine’s Day robbery at an electronics store in town.
Police said Monte T. Brannon, 20, from Aurora, Illinois, Trejamario D. Cook, 24, from Oswego, Illinois, and Campanella L. Ford III, 21, also of Oswego, Illinois all have had felony warrants issued for them. All face charges of burglary, criminal damage to property and obstructing an officer.
Ford is currently in custody in Illinois on unrelated charges and will be extradited to Wisconsin sometime in the future.
Brannon and Cook remain at large.
Five people have already been arrested in the case, which happened early in the morning Feb. 14 at the Radio Shack on Sixth Avenue in Monroe.
Police arrived after a citizen reported the store was being burglarized. That resulted in a high-speed chase, which led to the capture of five of the eight people alleged to be involved. However, the other three got away at the time.
