Monona police investigate shooting outside home
Home shot at numerous times, window shot out of car
MONONA, Wis. — No one was injured in a shooting outside a home in Monona early Tuesday morning, but the gunfire did cause damage to a single-family home, according to Monona police.
The incident happened about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of Shato Lane in Monona.
According to police, a home was shot at multiple times, and a car parked in the driveway had a window shot out. Police said witnesses describe a suspect getting into a silver Toyota 4-door car following the shooting.
The home was occupied at the time of the shooting, according to police. There was also a report of shots fired shortly before this incident nearby in the 1600 block of Brynwood Drive in Madison, but it’s not known whether the two incidents are connected.
