Milwaukee TV station receives letter from author claiming to be Jakubowski
MILWAUKEE — A man claiming to be Joseph Jakubowski, the man who led officials on a 10-day, nationwide manhunt , sent a letter to a Milwaukee TV station on Friday .
In the letter, which was sent to our Milwaukee news partner Today’s TMJ4, the man claiming to be Jakubowski addresses many of the same topics Jakubowski covered in his 161-page manifesto, which he mailed to the White House, and offers a potential explanation for his behavior.
The letter said he was aiming “… to try and wake the masses to the truth of what we are living! I sent my letter to the White House simply for the president/government/system to realize someone sees the truth of what the system has and are (sic) still doing to the people,” he wrote
The letter featured a return address matching Jakubowski’s at the Rock County Jail and was similar in handwriting to his earlier manifesto, leading Today’s TMJ4 to believe it was in fact written by Jakubowski.
