Milwaukee Street Bridge reopens after summer construction

MnDOT approves Winona bridge rehab work for nearly $39M

The Milwaukee Street Bridge, east of Fair Oak Avenue, is back open after being closed since July, according to a release.

The bridge opened around 9 a.m. Tuesday, but contractors continued to work on the intersection project, officials said.

The intersection reopened to full traffic Thursday afternoon.

The project repaired the bridge, reconstructed the intersection and improved underground utilities, lighting and traffic signals.
