Milwaukee County Zoo secret safari goes behind the scenes with animals
MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee County Zoo has launched a new secret safari program that will gives visitors behind-the-scenes access to animals.
The program is called Wild Connections. Zoo officials describe it as an “animal encounter program.” Participants will learn what it takes to care for the zoo’s residents.
There are multiple tour options. Some of which include checking out the tiger exhibit, feeding fish and caring for the birds.
“There is a tour option for every Zoo visitor, whether you like scales, fur, or feathers,” the news release from the zoo said.
To make a reservation, go to milwaukeezoo.org. Advanced registration is required for most tours and the types of tours available change by the season.
