Milton teen caught with stolen gun, police say
Gun was stolen from an unlocked vehicle
MILTON, Wis. — A 16-year-old Milton High School student was in possession of a stolen handgun, according to Milton police.
Police said the .45-caliber handgun was recently stolen out of an unlocked vehicle and was recovered during a search of a home in Harmony Township. The search was prompted by an anonymous tip.
The student was arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property.
Police said they are investigating a number of other thefts from vehicles.
