Milton police investigate burglary
Break-ins cause estimated $1,000 in damage
MILTON, Wis. — Milton police said they are investigating a burglary at Farm City Elevator.
Police said a burglar forced entry to three different locations on the property. The office, the basement and an adjacent utility shed were all forcibly entered, police said.
Police said the burglar stole a First Alert brand security camera, valued at approximately $230, which was still packaged in its original box.
Damage resulting from the forcible entries is believed to be in excess of $1,000, according to the Milton Police Department.
The incident took place between 6 p.m. Saturday and 5:30 a.m. Sunday, police said.
People who come forward with information that leads to the arrest of those responsible for this crime are eligible for a cash reward through Janesville Area Crimestoppers.
