Milan D. Halverson

Milan Halverson, age 47, of Belmont, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. He was born on March 26, 1965 in Dodgeville to Wayne and Clarice “Annie” (Brennum) Halverson. Milan married Lynn Pelfrey of Darlington on November 8, 1991. Milan worked as a maintenance manager for Select Publishing. His hobbies included coon hunting, field trials, shooting pool, playing cards and fishing. Milan also enjoyed watching Westerns and playing board games. Milan cherished his time spent with his family.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jesse on October 8, 2009 and his parents.

Milan is survived by his wife, Lynn of Belmont; four children, Chip Foss (Danielle Kruser) of Ridgeway; Brandi Halverson (Ryan Pierce) of Platteville; Ashley Halverson of Platteville and Taylor Halverson of Belmont; a grandson, J.J. Halverson; five siblings, Robert (Carmel) Halverson of Cazenovia; Michael Halverson of Mineral Point; Gary (DeAnna) Halverson of Cobb; M. Jenann (James) Halverson of Dodgeville and Donna (Dale) Lehman of Highland; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the Lulloff-Peterson-Houck Funeral Home, Dodgeville where funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Pastor Rom A. Pegram will officiate with burial in East Side Cemetery.
