Middleton police search for 3 robbery suspects

Middleton police are searching for three people in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Tuesday.

Police said the trio approached a victim about 7:30 p.m. in the parking lot of an apartment building on 2050 Allen Blvd. The victim told police one man demanded money. But the victim refused and police said two other males shouted encouragement to the first suspect, who lifted his shirt to show the victim a black, semi-automatic handgun in his waistband.

The victim gave the suspect money and the three suspects fled into the apartment building, according to police.

Police said no one was injured and a K-9 unit was not able to find the suspects.

Police described the first suspect as a black man in his mid-20s, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, about 180 pounds with a round face. Police said the suspect wearing a white T-shirt, baggy jean shorts and a ball cap.

The second suspect was described as a black man about the same height as the first suspect and in his late teens. He weighed about 140 pounds and was wearing a white T-shirt, shorts, and a black ball cap.

The third suspect was described as a black man whose age was not known. Police said he was shorter than the other two with longer, curly hair.
