Middleton PD asks public help identifying fraud suspect
MIDDLETON, Wis. — Middleton police asked the public’s help Monday in identifying a fraud suspect from surveillance images.
The police department said the woman is suspected of cashing a fraudulent check at Starion Financial on John Q. Hammons Drive on Feb. 13.
According to the report, a similar fraudulent transaction also occurred the previous week at another Starion Financial location in Dane County.
Police asked anyone who recognizes the woman or anyone who has information about the frauds to call or text Middleton police at 608-824-7300, or leave a message on the confidential tipster line at 608-824-7304. Police asked tipsters to mention incident number 17-1596.
