Michigan pounds Wisconsin 6-0

Badgers fare well in Academic Progress Rates

Friday night, Michigan’s high scoring offense scored seven goals at the Kohl Center en route to a 7-4 win over Wisconsin. Saturday night went just as well for Big Blue, as they scored six more in a 6-0 rout of the Badgers.

Michigan started out fast. 1:12 into the first period, Dylan Larkin’s wrister ricocheted off of UW goalie Joel Rumpel’s backside and the Wolverines grabbed a 1-0 lead. Just 51 seconds later, Zach Hyman scored his first goal of the night to give Michigan a 2-0 lead. The Wolverines scored four goals in the first period.

Hyman added another goal in the second period and Zach Werenski added one in the third period to make it 6-0 Michigan.

Michigan scored 13 goals in two games at the Kohl Center this weekend and Wisconsin falls to 2-15-3 overall.
