Michael A. Frederickson
Michael A. Frederickson, 51 passed away Saturday, September 15, 2012.
Mike was raised in Mauston, Wisconsin by his parents Patricia and Robert Kanarowski. He grew up near the Wisconsin River in Marion Township. There he spent most of his younger days free spirited (as he would always be) bird hunting with his favorite dogs, fishing, trapping and deer hunting. It was in these younger days that he earned his nickname Daniel Boone. There wasn’t anything about the outdoors that Mike didn’t know or like. You could find Mike reading a Louis L’amour novel or anything to do with history when he wasn’t in the woods. Mike always loved his family and tried to protect them whenever possible. He would always help his family or anyone that was in need. Throughout his life Mike cheered on family and friends in their quest to be their best. Mike will always be remembered for his sense of humor in any situation and his great story telling ability. He was preceded in death by his parents Patricia and Robert Kanarowski and is survived by his sisters Sandi (Frederickson) and Rob Brandli, Cindy (Kanarowski) and Lyle Peterson, Kari (Kanarowski) and Rick Hernandez, Jackie (Kanarowski) and Roger Manthey, his brother Robert Kanarowski, his nieces Carmen and Sophie Hernandez. A celebration of his life will take place at Crandall Funeral Home in Mauston, WI on Monday the 24th of September from 6pm to 8pm. There will be a memorial service at 7:30pm officiated by Fr. Eric Berns. Following the memorial there will be a gathering at The Way Station located on Hwy HH, Mauston.
