Mercyhealth employees receive second dose of COVID-19 vaccine

JANESVILLE, Wis. — Health care workers at Mercyhealth started receiving their second doses of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine Tuesday.
The health care provider received its first allotment of COVID-19 vaccine on Dec. 22. Frontline workers who were first vaccinated after the initial allotment will receive their second dose starting today and continuing through the week.
Vaccinations are currently only available for health care workers, but Rock County health officials and health care providers are working to create a plan for distribution to the general public, according to a news release from Mercyhealth.
