Memorial fund set up for mother and daughter killed in Hawaii helicopter crash
MADISON, Wis. — A memorial fund has been set up for Amy and Jocelyn Gannon, the mother and daughter who lost their lives last month in a helicopter crash in Hawaii.
According to a news release, the fund, sponsored by the Gannon Family and Doyenne, will support women’s empowerment and wildlife conservation.
The fund has reportedly already raised more than $8,000 in just a few days.
A public memorial event to celebrate Amy Gannon, the co-founder of Doyenne, and her dedication to Wisconsin entrepreneurs will be Friday, Jan. 31 from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Sylvee in Madison.
Sen. Tammy Baldwin, actor A.J. Carr, Lady Laughs Comedy founder Dina Nina Martinez, Infamous Mothers founder Sagashus Levingston and Doyenne co-founder Heather Wentler are scheduled to speak at the event.

Seven people died in a helicopter crash along the Na Pali coast in Hawaii on Dec. 28.
Gannon is survived by her husband and 16-year-old son.
