Memorial bench to honor Belleville student killed weeks after graduation last year
Bench will sit outside school's west entrance
BELLEVILLE, Wis. — A special bench will sit outside Belleville High School in honor of a former student who died during a traffic accident last July.
Eduardo Fraire had just turned 18 and was a recent high school graduate when he was involved in a head-on crash in the town of Montrose.
According to his obituary, Fraire was part of the football, track and forensics teams while in high school. He had also been accepted to Madison College and planned to transfer to the University of Wisconsin-Madison to finish his degree.
The Eddie Fraire memorial bench will sit outside the west entrance of Belleville High School, according to a social media post by the school. It was funded by the Belleville High School Young Politicians Club.
