Melvin Gordon 107 yards shy of 1,000 in 1st season in Denver
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Former Chargers running back Melvin Gordon is 107 yards shy of 1,000 in his first season in Denver, but the veteran is downplaying the milestone mark.
Gordon says he’s unsatisfied with his season even though he has eight touchdown runs and a TD reception. Gordon says he hasn’t had the season he envisioned when he signed as a free agent last spring and neither have the Broncos.
Denver is 5-10 heading into Sunday’s finale against the Raiders. Gordon says he hopes to return to Denver next season, but is letting his agent deal with his future and his financial situation.
