What is your favorite part about living in Madison?

All of the things there are to do! Between the lakes, concerts, and food, it seems there’s always something going on.

What is the biggest news story that you've covered?

I’ve covered a lot of stories, but one sticks out the most to me. Make-a-Wish granted a 7-year-old girl’s dream to be a cop for a day. The Spokane Police Department made her a replica uniform, swore her in, and set up crime for her to fight across the city. It ended with a party at City Hall and a thank you from the mayor. I’ll never forget it.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I like being active, reading, and spending time with family.

What is your favorite kind of ice cream?

Chocolate with lots of toppings (I worked at Coldstone for 5 years!)

What is the funniest thing that's ever happened to you?

I embarrass myself daily, but I once missed a layup on live TV.

What is your favorite place to vacation?

I love anywhere with a beach and good food.

Who is your hero and why? ,

My mom. She’s incredibly hard working, smart, and tough. But she’s also the most kind, funny, and caring person I know. She inspires me daily.

What was your favorite band when you were in high school?

Spice Girls! I saw them in concert my senior year of high school and lost my voice from singing. I really really really wanna zig a zig ah!

What is your favorite sport to play or watch?

Basketball to watch, softball to play

If you could possess one superhuman power, what would it be?

I’d want all of Harry Potter’s powers, but if I had to choose one it’d be Accio so I could summon things without getting off my couch.

What are you really bad at that you'd love to be great at?

Dancing. I’m awful.

What is your most memorable travel experience?

I haven’t traveled as much as I’d like to, but I recently went to Mexico with my family. It was the first time my mom had been out of the country. It was fun to experience that with her.
