Medical examiner identifies 18-year-old who died in head-on collision
TOWN OF MONTROSE, Wis. — Officials have identified the 18-year-old man who died in a serious head-on collision in the town of Montrose early Sunday morning.
Eduardo D. Fraire, of Bellevile, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to a report from the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office. Officials said the crash remains.
Officials received a report of a collision on County Road PB near its intersection with County Highway A at 9:47 a.m. Sunday.
Deputies said a 58-year-old man was operating a Ford F-350 pickup truck northbound when his vehicle was struck by 2012 Honda Fit driven by Fraire, according to a news release by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver and passenger in the pickup truck were transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
