Masked gunman robs east Madison gas station, police say
MADISON, Wis. — A Madison gas station was robbed by a masked gunman early Tuesday, police said.
Madison police said officers are investigating an armed robbery at the BP gas station on East Washington Avenue at 5:49 a.m.
According to the report, a masked gunman entered the store and demanded cash. He fled on foot with money from the till.
The robber was described as black, between 19 and 25 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and was wearing a black coat and a camouflage mask.
