JANESVILLE — Maryanne Nagy, age 57, of Janesville, died on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, at home.
She was born in Chicago on March 19, 1957, the daughter of Kenneth and Doris (Landman) Kahler. She married Gary O’Brien in 1981, and he died of cancer in 1983. Maryanne married Jack D. Nagy in Elmhurst, IL on Dec. 18, 1987. She had been employed as a Registered Nurse for many years, and had been a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Maryanne is survived by her husband, Jack Nagy; 2 children, Doreen (Nick) Forslund and Mike Nagy both of Madison; and brother, Michael “Mick” Kahler of Elmhurst, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY with Mick Kahler officiating. Interment will be in Elm Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Elmhurst, IL.
