Mary and Stan were blessed with fifteen wonderful children, nine sons and six daughters; Judy, Carla, Charlotte, Stan Jr., Stuart, Lisa, Steven, Sheldon, Scott, Sam, Diane, Donna, Dennis, Douglas and David.

Mary’s greatest passion was raising her children. She also enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren immensely. Mary loved to talk about her family and was known for her patience and understanding. Her favorite quotes included, “I gave life and living my best shot. My family was my top priority.” and “something good will come of it”. She was an outstanding cook and took pride in having a homemade meal ready at any time of the day if someone should stop by. Known for her delicious apple pies, homemade breads and cookies, you never left Mary’s home hungry. Mary enjoyed traveling and enjoyed trips to Switzerland, Haiti, Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii, England and much of the Continental US.

Mary was a busy woman and had an enormous faith in God. Mother Theresa was a great inspiration to her. She had a strong compassion to help the less fortunate and the elderly. She found great joy in making someone’s day. Mary was an active and dedicated member of the Waldwick Community Church. She enjoyed writing the Waldwick News for the Dodgeville Chronicle for 30 years.
