Mary A. Henning
JANESVILLE—- Mary A. Henning, age 71, of Menomonie, and formerly of Janesville, died on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at the American Lutheran Home, Menomonie, WI. She was born in Janesville on April 24, 1941, the daughter of Norman and Vera (Tibbets) Brieske. She attended St. Patrick’s Catholic Grade School and graduated from Janesville High School. Mary married Larry O. Henning in Janesville in July of 1979, and he preceded her in death on July 11, 2004. She retired from General Motors after 20 years, and had been a member of the UAW Local 95. Mary loved fishing, bowling, knitting, and spending many summers in Chetek and winter’s in Florida.
She is survived by her 5 children: Cindy (Ronald) Bruce of Menomonie, Scott Miller of Washington, Kimberly (Jeff) Rippon of Florida, Becky Montelione of Beloit and Denice “Dee Dee” (James) Divietri of West Palm Beach, FL; 15 grandchildren; 4 brothers: Dick (Karen) Brieske of Edgerton, Norman (Nancy) Brieske of Ontario, WI, Don (Bea) Brieske of Prentice and Bob (Nicola) Brieske of Delavan; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; step father, Robert Peterson; and son, Alan Miller.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 23, 2012, at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY with Fr. Tom Marr officiating. Interment will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME.
