Marjorie May Knobeck (Malsack)

Marjorie M. (Malsack) Knobeck, age 97, died peacefully at her home, surrounded by family, on Friday, February 17, 2017. She was born on July 5, 1919 in Madison, Wisconsin, the daughter of Peter and Silveria Malsack. She married John H. Knobeck on June 7, 1949 who preceded her in death in 1996. She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Jon) Feller of DeForest; twin grandsons, Michael (Crystal) Feller of DeForest and Brian (Marisa) Feller of Madison; great-granddaughter Kaylee of DeForest and great-grandson Wesley of Madison. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters and brothers-in-law, Ann (Don) Shaffer and Mildred (Ernie) Jackson. A special thanks to her nieces Joanne Thuesen and Judy Brown, and great niece Jane Olsen for all the care they gave Marjorie throughout the past years and especially the last few months. Without them she would not have been able to stay in her home that she’s lived in since 1954; and a special thanks to her nephew and his wife, Michael and Nancy Jackson, for traveling from Texas to help care for her the last days of her life. The family would also like to thank Agrace Hospice for the amazing help, support and compassion in the last days of her life, as well as the doctors and nurses at Meriter Hospital.
