Marilyn Jeanette Reda
Marilyn Jeanette Reda, age 88 of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at St. Clare Meadows Care Center in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 1:15 p.m. at Spring Grove Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells with Reverend Steven Keller officiating. Visitation will be held at the Picha Funeral Home in Wisconsin Dells on Saturday from 12 to 1 p.m. and then process to the cemetery.
Marilyn was born November 23, 1925 in New Glarus, Wisconsin the daughter of Emil and Ida (Zahler) Kubly. She grew up in the Swiss community of New Glarus, Wisconsin and was very proud of her Swiss heritage. She graduated from New Glarus High School in 1943 and was named the Class Jitterbug as she loved to dance. She married Pasquale Reda on June 8, 1963 and moved to the Wisconsin Dells area.
Marilyn enjoyed reading, spending time with family, and taking walks around town especially during tourist seasons and Wo-Zha-Wa days. She also truly enjoyed being a grandmother to her three grandsons.
Marilyn is survived by a son and daughter in law, Pasquale and Angela Reda of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and three grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Dean Fish of Woodbridge, Virginia and a brother, Harold Kubly of New Glarus.
