Marilyn A. C Dochnahl-Cleary
Marilyn A. Dochnahl Cleary, age 80 of Dodgeville, died on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Bloomfield Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center following a long illness. Marilyn was born on March 26, 1937 in Dodgeville to Leo and Mildred (Heibel) Dochnahl Sr. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. As a people person, her greatest joy came from visiting with family and friends and never missed a day talking to her sisters, Joan and Janice.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Leo Dochnahl Jr. and Gary Dochnahl and two sisters, Eileen Nelson and Darlene Reilly.
Marilyn is survived by four sons, Craig Cleary of Lone Rock; Kim Cleary of Highland; Kevin Cleary of Dodgeville and Brian Cleary of Primrose; five grandchildren, Kimberly (Mark) Gratz and Jesse, Kayla, Marissa and J.J. Cleary; two great grandchildren, Boone Cleary and Jackson Meyers; two sisters, Janice Rideout and Joan Kirkpatrick, both of Dodgeville as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
In keeping with Marilyn’s wishes, private family services were held with inurnment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Iowa County Humane Society or St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Marilyn’s sons wish to extend their sincere gratitude to their aunts, Janice and Joan and cousin, Lynn Evans for their dedication to her, both at home and at Bloomfield.
