Marijuana grow operation seized in Rock County
Beloit man faces charges of maintaining a drug dwelling
BELOIT, Wis. — A 41-year-old Beloit man faces numerous charges after Rock County Sheriff’s Deputies seized a marijuana grow operation at his home Friday.
Mitchell Hemmerling faces charges of manufacturing/delivering THC, maintaining a drug dwelling and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the sheriff’s department.
Deputies said a search warrant was issued for Hemmerling’s home after the department investigated a possible sale and production of marijuana at the home.
Deputies said they located several areas where marijuana was being grown on the property, and seized 74 plants in total.
Hemmerling is expected to make his initial appearance in court on these charges Tuesday, according to the sheriff’s department.
