MIDDLETON-Marianne Hilgers, age 54, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017, at home of an apparent heart attack.
She was born on September 7, 1962, in Madison, the daughter of Rolland and Mary (Yehle) Fellers. She married Mike Hilgers on April 10, 1993, in Middleton.
Marianne enjoyed her time up north in “Queen Marianne’s Land.” She loved doing crossword puzzles. She could solve any puzzle; a skill she taught her nieces and nephews. She was everybody’s “favorite aunt.” Her wonderful talent in arts and crafts served her well as a framer for Pucci’s Gallery. Marianne was a master cook. She was always making something. It was a privilege to know and love Marianne. She will be dearly missed. She touched so many lives. Those who knew and loved her were better for it. She was good at life.
She is survived by her husband, Mike; brothers, Pete (Nancy) Fellers, Tim Fellers, Tom (Julie) Fellers; sister, Sue (Jim) Madden; mother-in-law, Bobbi Hilgers; Mike’s brothers and sister, Bill (Vicki), Joe (Judy), Paul (Jean), Patrick (Lori) and Marie (Hugh) Jones; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2017. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday.
