Marguerite E. Luttig, 90, of Richland Center died Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Pine Valley Healthcare. She was born October 12, 1924 the daughter of Frank and Mary (Stepanek) Pettera in Montfort. On September 1, 1943 Marguerite married August Luttig in Muscoda at St. Peter’s Parsonage. The couple farmed side by side at East Branch Mill Creek. They did everything together over their married life and even moved into Pine Valley at the same time. Marguerite was a member of Dayton Corner Homemakers, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Boaz, St. Paul’s Ladies Aide, and LWML. She was a hard working woman who took great pride in raising her chickens and selling her eggs to her clients on Saturday mornings.

Marguerite is survived by two daughters: Helen (Charles) Sheafor of Richland Center, Cathy Johnson of Appleton (Larry Zockert) of Green Bay; Daughter-in-law: Patricia Luttig of Richland Center; 10 grandchildren: Konya (Dan) Antonetti, Kory Sheafor, Valerie (Dennis) Schmitz, Toby (Rebecca) Johnson, Katrina (Jerry Coleman) Johnson, Sara (Matt) Rupp, and Casey Johnson, Michelle (Doug) Haworth, Marcia Moe, Nathan Luttig; 17 great-grandchildren: Seton and Mackenzie Sheafor, Elizabeth Harrison, Lacy, Tiffany, and Jaide Johnson, Alex and Joey Schmitz, Charlie Coleman, Henry Rupp, Aubrey, Easton, and Bradie Haworth, Samantha, Cassidy, Emily and Mallory Moe; 2 step great-grandsons Luke and Tony Antonetti; Sisters: Lucy Spears, Darlene (Don) Cunitz, Gertie Jensen, Elsie (Bill) Roberts; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents, husband August in 2002, son Herman in 2001, son-in-law Jerry Johnson in 2007, great-grandson Jonathon Johnson in 1994, two brothers Laverne and Joe Pettera, three sisters Frances Turnmire, Rose Morse, and Katherine Neff.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in the Richland Center Cemetery. Friends may call at the Pratt Memorial Chapel from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
