Marginal risk for severe storms Monday
MADISON, Wis. — A marginal risk for severe weather stretches into southern Wisconsin through Monday evening.
As of 6 PM, a line of strong storms is moving through the southwest counties. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms should be expected through the rest of the evening. Some storms may bring strong wind gusts up to 60 MPH and quarter sized hail.
Localized areas of heavy rain are also possible during these storms.
Storm chances will begin to diminish around 10PM, though a few showers may linger into early Tuesday morning.
Behind the rain, skies will steadily become mostly sunny on Tuesday. Cooler air will keep high temperatures in the lower 60s for Tuesday afternoon.
