Margaret E. Hein
JANESVILLE—Margaret E. Hein, of Janesville, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at St. Mary’s Janesville Hospital. She was born in Janesville on July 31, 1923, the daughter of Michael “Max” and Josephine (Tobin) Lyons. Margaret married Otto “Bill” Hein on Sept. 2, 1960, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was employed in the office at General Motors and later with her husband, Bill, in their business, Janesville Frosted Foods. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, a former member of the Ladies Elks, and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially watching her grandson’s soccer games.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; a daughter, Mary (Rick) Donahue of Janesville; and grandson, Daniel. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Gaffney.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Janesville with Rev. Stephen J. Umhoefer officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, Janesville.
