March, vigil to mark anniversary of Tony Robinson’s death
Supporters will gather Monday for a march and vigil to mark the two-year anniversary of the death of Tony Robinson.
Robinson was a biracial man who was fatally shot by Madison police Officer Matt Kenny in 2015.
Supporters will gather at East High School at 5:30 p.m. for a short march to the Social Justice Center, near where Robinson was killed, and hold a candle light vigil.
A news conference with family and friends of Robinson, along with the family’s attorneys, is scheduled for 3 p.m. They’re expected to provide information about facts they uncovered in their investigation of the shooting.
