Man who fled cops on foot faces 2 charges, police say
REEDSBURG, Wis. — A Reedsburg man who ran from police in downtown Reedsburg early Sunday is facing two charges, police said.
The Reedsburg Police Department said officers responded at 2:30 a.m. to a report of a disturbance on Sunday at a tavern in the 300 block of East Main Street. During the investigation, 24-year-old Anthony L.D. Long attempted to flee on foot.
Police said officers pursued Long for about six blocks before capturing him. Long was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Long was taken to the Sauk County Jail.
