Man threatens to kill woman, flees with baby, police say
Baby returned safely to mother
MADISON, Wis. — A Madison man threatened to kill a 21-year-old woman and their baby boy on Thursday afternoon and fled with the baby, according to a release from Madison police.
The woman told police that Justin K. Taylor, 21, grabbed a kitchen knife and began making stabbing motions at her and saying he was going to kill her. She said she tried to leave the Raymond Road home with the baby, but he pushed her back.
Taylor took the baby outside while continuing to make threatening statements and fled, according to the release. Police said they contacted Taylor by phone, determined his location and arrested him near Anton Drive.
The boy was returned safely to his mother.
Taylor was arrested on suspicion of second-degree reckless endangerment, false imprisonment and disorderly conduct while armed.
