Man suspected of stabbing woman in car arrested in Chicago, police say
MADISON, Wis. — A man wanted in connection with an incident where a woman was stabbed earlier this month was arrested in Chicago over the weekend, Madison police said.
A Madison woman in her 40s was traveling in a car around noon on Nov. 10 with a man she knows when she got out of the vehicle near the bike path at John Nolen Drive and Broom Street with a life-threatening stab wound, according to a release.
An arrest warrant for the suspect, Tony M. Mason, was issued that day.
Mason was arrested Friday night in Chicago by a Chicago Police Department tactical unit, officials said.
The motive for the violence is not known at this time, police said.
