Man suffers leg injuries after being hit by snowplow
Call came in as "employee versus truck" report
MADISON, Wis. — A 62-year-old man was hit by a snowplow at a city garage Saturday, police said.
Dispatchers said the call came in around 12:26 p.m. as a “truck versus employee” report at a city garage on West Badger Road.
Madison police Sgt. Eric Tripke said the plow backed over the man, injuring his leg. The man was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident, Tripke said, though noise from other trucks backing up simultaneously may have been a factor.
