Man stabs co-worker in neck at downtown bar, police say
MADISON, Wis. — A man was stabbed at a downtown Madison bar early Monday, police said.
Madison police said two men were arguing at about 3:30 a.m. inside Brocach on West Main Street. The pub was not open, but there was a private party taking place when the dispute started.
According to the report, 23-year-old Patrick E. Specht, of Madison, stabbed or sliced the other man in the neck with a knife, causing a non-life-threatening injury.
Specht was arrested on suspicion of first-degree reckless endangering safety. The victim was taken to a hospital.
Specht and the injured man are co-workers, police said.
