Man shot by BB gun while walking in Madison
Victim was struck in the ear
MADISON, Wis. — A Madison man was shot by a BB gun while walking with his son Friday afternoon.
Police said the 34-year-old man was walking with his 7-year-old son in the 2300 block of Allied Drive about 4 p.m. Friday when the father was struck in the ear by a projectile, which caused significant bleeding.
Police said they believe the victim was hit by a BB or pellet.
There have been two other similar BB gun shooting incidents in the area recently, and police said it’s possible the incidents are connected, according to a Madison Police Department incident report.
