Man robs east Madison liquor store at gunpoint
Robber demanded money, fled on foot from Milwaukee St. business

MADISON, Wis. — A man robbed an east Madison liquor store at gunpoint Saturday morning, police said.
Madison police said a man entered Rocky’s Liquor Store at 4429 Milwaukee St. at 11:38 a.m. with a handgun.
The robber demanded money and fled the area on foot, according to the report.
Police said a K-9 assisted in the investigation, but the robber was still at large Saturday afternoon.
The man was described as 30, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a thin build and a full beard. He was wearing a green coat and a black baseball cap.
Police said no one was injured in the robbery.
